The Catalyst EC and Catalyst EC XL, based on the Intel® Atom processor, offer high performance with under 3W of power consumption and very low heat generation. Targeted for applications such as industrial, medical, and transportation where low power and fanless operation are critical, the Catalyst EC and the Catalyst EC XL consist of an EPIC-compliant carrier board mounted respectively with Eurotech's Catalyst Module or Catalyst Module XL.
The Catalyst EC and Catalyst EC XL excels in performance, graphics, and communication while maintaining low cost. In addition, the EPIC carrier board supports connections for a range of wireless options such as Bluetooth, 802.11, and GPS. Custom solutions can easily meet unique application requirements. Flexibility is also offered through a range of operating system choices including Windows® Embedded Standard, XP, Wind River Linux3.0, and targeted real time operating systems (RTOS).
