Eurotech ZyWAN Router Deployed in Smart Grid
Application for Regional Power Company
Eurotech's ZyWAN cellular routing modem has been
chosen by a major utility company serving more than
2 million customers to support SmartGrid
initiatives. 1M USD worth of Eurotech
ZyWAN units will be
deployed at base stations throughout the grid to
manage power flow and wirelessly connect smart
meters for residential and business clients, and
will give the utility a reliable, high performance
network access point for a comprehensive view of
their grid.

Eurotech Introduces Two New Compact Enclosures Based
on the Intel® Atom™ Processor
Eurotech has announced two new products, intended
for industrial and light transportation
applications, the ISIS and PROTEUS Industrial
Compact Enclosures (ICE). Both the ISIS ICE and
PROETUS ICE are based on the Intel® Atom™ processor
and offer a fanless, low-power, high performance
system with multiple wireless communications options
in a CE approved enclosure.

They are both compatible with all major desktop
operating systems and are available with
pre-installed Windows XP, XP Embedded and Linux.

Eurotech Expands Executive Team with New COO and CFO,
Adds Focus on Systems Business
Our former Chief Operating Officer, Chris Houghton
has shifted positions to take on the responsibility
of developing our newly created Systems Division
based out of Kansas City as COO - Systems. Stepping
into Chris' former role is Ben Roderique. Ben brings
extensive operational and engineering leadership
experience in wireless, video, fiber optics, mobile
devices and distributed antenna systems to his role.
In another change, we congratulate former Financial
Director Leann Zawodniak on her promotion to Chief
Finance Officer at Eurotech Inc! Sebastian Bain, who
had filled that role for Eurotech Inc most recently,
will now focus more exclusively on European
activities.

Changes Coming to Eurotech EOL policy
Eurotech COO Ben Roderique has begun addressing our
EOL policy and changes will be coming soon. As a
first glimpse, here are two things that you can
expect:
1. POs will need to be placed for 35% of the sales
price for the total units required.
2. Each order must be placed in a minimum lot size
of 500 pieces.
More information will follow when we release the new
policy.
