Java for Linux
Eurotech Java is a highly optimized J2ME Java virtual machine for most of our Linux based single board computers. The Java virtual machine we provide is IBM's J9 and is a Sun compatible J2ME VM. We can provide both CDC1.0/Foundation 1.0 as well as CDC1.1/Foundation 1.1. There are some additional modified profiles we can provide to add functionality or to reduce the JVM footprint when required. These include the jclRM and jclMax profiles. We also have a number of shared object libraries that provide low level access to many of our boards individual features including GPS devices, cellular modems, GPIO chips, and serially connected devices.
For many of our Single Board Computers which support a display, and for our wearable computers, we also provide the Standard Widget Toolkit (SWT) for Java based graphical development.
