Eurotech's Catalyst FX delivers the power of Eurotech's Catalyst Module and Catalyst Module XL, based on the Intel® Atom™ processor, on a flexible carrier board that offers extensive I/O, communication, and multimedia capabilities and is easily customized to meet diverse application requirements.
The Catalyst FX offers high speed USB, serial ports, SATA drives, and much more. Expansion boards, supplied by Eurotech's design or from a third-party, offer multimedia capabilities such as audio, XVGA, LVDS, or HDMI video, and is easily expanded for additional I/O ports. The Catalyst FX supports several wireless options as well as a u-blox GPS receiver. For fleet management and tracking applications, vehicle power provides trouble-free integration.
Catalyst FX supports Windows CE, Windows Embedded Standard, and Wind River Linux 3.0 operating systems. For development environments, Java Virtual Machine and Eurotech's Everyware Software Framework provide an easy-to-use, Java-based development environment that minimizes time to market and allows for easy portability for future expansion.
