Catalyst EC Development Kit

Eurotech's Catalyst Atom Development Kit includes a pre-built OS image, with all drivers in place that is ready for your applications software, out of the box. The kit is offered with fully licensed:

There is no need to develop and integrate drivers with Platform Builder or other tools normally required for board access. The dev system, as it comes to you, boots up, with all hardware supported, and is ready for installation of your applications code.

The Catalyst EC development system is available in two forms:

One version includes the Catalyst EC two-board platform, power supply, and cable to connect to your display. You use your own computer monitor (typical VGA plug), PS2 Mouse and Keyboard  to work with the Catalyst EC platform. You could also connect to your own LVDS screen or touch panel.

The other version gives you the best out of the box experience, in that you take it out of the box, plug it in, and get to work. It comes mounted on Plexiglas with a 10.4 inch LCD with integrated resistive touch screen. It has a VGA output that can drive a second monitor. See what one user experienced here.

If you need to optimize the Linux or Windows operating system image, Eurotech's design engineers can work with you, either to enhance the features of the operating system or reduce the footprint to save storage space. Eurotech has a track record of developing and integrating new drivers to achieve the very best from the customers' chosen OS.

Technical Documentation and Support:

Eurotech provides detailed technical documentation to guide you through the development process, either on CD or online. For any OEM developing a product, we provide support via our public forums. Simply ask a question and get an answer from our customer support team. For any OEM with a contract, support is via forums and private communication as well.
