Intel® Atom™ Development Kits
Atom™ Development Systems from Eurotech are designed to do one thing and one thing only- get your product to market quickly.
These systems all share an optimized BIOS, rock solid BSP, and a bill of material selected for low cost and extended availability. Further, each of these systems, when sold to an OEM, is accompanied by our extended support commitment: we provide you a functional API and we support that commitment without 'hardware vs. software' differentiation. If any problems arise, your support is by factory engineers who have direct access to the developers of hardware, BIOS and OS BSP Software.
We offer the OEM several types of development systems for our products based on Intel Atom. The Catalyst XL, Catalyst LP, and Catalyst TC development systems drop our family of 67 x 100 mm modules onto large format carrier boards which are studded with connectors and plugs for easy plug-in and qualification of components, all catered to bring out the full functionality of the product. These development systems are best for the OEM who plans to build, or have already built, a special purpose carrier board for his or her product or even to build Catalyst module circuits into a highly optimized single board system.
Eurotech also offers development kits for products such as the Catalyst EC, Catalyst FX, and ISIS which are full hardware solutions that mate the Catalyst modules with Eurotech-designed carrier boards in standard and non-standard form factors. The Catalyst EC is available in the EPIC form factor while the ISIS supports the PC/104+ standard. For the ISIS PC/104+ dev system, a breakout board for termination of the many on-board signals (such as GPS) is supplied with the development system as well. Finally, the Catalyst FX dev system offers a full suite of communications protocols for those OEMs who need GPS, WiFi, and other networking capabilities.
Finally, for those OEMs who are looking to get started on SBC products based on Intel Atom, Eurotech offers the Vector and PROTEUS development systems. The Vector is a flexible, robust design that delivers features such as CAN and high-speed I/O while the PROTEUS is a highly optimized single board configuration for wireless and vehicle based systems with GPS on the board and a vehicle rated power supply.
