Windows Embedded Server on Eurotech Catalyst

Beckoff Automation put this demo together for Microsoft to showcase real-time capabilities and general network ability.  The Windows CE automation controller connects to a Catalyst EC running Windows Embedded Server and a Siemens HMI.  The devices use DPWS (Device Profile for Web Services), an open standard that lets devices identify themselves and their capabilities to each other.  The Eurotech server collects real time data, stores it in a SQL database and serves ASPX WebPages with real time, updated data. The Eurotech device shown in this demo is functionally equivalent to Helios.
